MOTIV Key Leader

Location: Danforth (Greektown) + Queen West (Liberty Village)

Position type: Full-time

A MOTIV Key Leader is a champion for the brand. Someone who is passionate about providing top notch service to each client who walks through the door. This Key Leader is building strong leadership traits and aims to build a career as a MOTIV manager.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the front desk including member check-in for classes and appointments 
  • Provide a superior level of customer service to all MOTIV Pilates members, prospective members and guests, as well as a similar environment and customer service level with our staff / team members. 
  • Coach and motivate members of the studio while leading them through MOTIV designed workouts
  • Conduct in person, tours with new trial members
  • Promote and sell only MOTIV services in studio, assist in membership growth and retention
  • Have a vast knowledge of Xplor Mariana Tek platform to ensure that it can stay up to date and functional while in the studio.
  • Set up, break down, clean and store away equipment around the studio floor before and / or after classes – this means being a leader in ‘TO DOs’. Being able to delegate and / or collaboratively work to ensure the studio is clean and properly organized
  • Attend to customer requests via Zendesk ticket system
  • Fill in for the MOTIV manager when required
  • Maintain a high level of service knowledge
  • Use Loyalsnap CRM to communicate with clients and ensure 10 day trials have follow up, other staff have been using this correctly
  • Participate in bi-weekly 1:1 meetings with Ciara to discuss goals, progress and topics in need of improvement
  • Assists in training of new hires for administrative tasks when necessary 

Manage Physio Program

  • Ensure bookings are up to date in the schedule
  • Work through follow ups on the physio log to ensure appointments are scheduled accordingly with the physiotherapist recommendations 

As a Key Leader, your role is to ensure that studio operations run smoothly in the absence of a studio manager. Additional duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Complete Manager on Duty checklist
  • Ensure that all cleaning and ‘TO DO’ lists are being followed
  • Support employees with questions or problems that arise
  • Completing end of night closing lists
  • Responsible for locking up
  • Other duties as assigned
