Always Last On The List, But Should Be At The Top – 5 Mins To Strong Glutes

I don’t exactly know why, but leg workouts are always last on my list. One of the things that attracted me to Pilates is that I enjoyed the leg workouts “almost” as much as everything else. I started to feel the amazing benefits of a leg workout that connects to the core. Our legs are such huge muscles compared to the rest of our body and they impact the health of our spine a great deal. In many cases lower back pain is a symptom of a weak or imbalanced legs. For me, I came to Pilates because of back pain. After years of competitive figure skating where my legs were massively developed, but to my surprise, I was not connected to my core. Developing the ability to move my legs with my core engaged changed everything. I was way stronger and able to preform much better. Best of all, my back didn’t hurt anymore. So, I challenge you to put your legs first. Give this 5 minute glute workout a try a couple of times a week. It will improve your stability, strength and stamina.
